Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny on the 3rd day of February is an American actor. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the in the early 1980s, playing roles in several television series where she typically displayed a glamorous appearance. Fairchild started her career with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. In her first role as the actress playing Jenna Wade, she made her debut in the CBS soap opera for daytime Dallas in the year 1978. In the following year, she landed an important role for the NBC drama Flamingo Road (1980), which won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress - Television Series - for that series. The show was a short-lived ABC premiertime drama Paper Dolls. Then between 1985 and 1986 she portrayed the attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild also appeared in the theatre, as well as playing guest roles on TV shows such as Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this series. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
