Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on January. 19. 1946 to a humble family of 12 children eventually included, discovered early that she could escape suffering through her creative mind. Before she could write or read, she began to compose the songs she wrote herself. At the age of eight, she bought her first electric guitar. She began singing on an Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. In the same year, she recorded her debut recording for Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. At the age of 16, she was able to establish herself within the community, but her dream was greater. On the 14th of March, 1964, after her high school graduation the singer moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner's syndicated tv show needed the services of a new singer by this time. Parton was hired in the year 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, she joined the Grand Ole Opry. The band split in 1974 when her solo songs such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene oversold her collaborations. Parton, after the split of their relationship with Wagoner she wrote the song"I Will Never Love You and saw it climb to Number. In 1974, the song by Parton I Will Always Love You peaked at No.
