
Kelly Ripa, born on October 2, 1970, is a dancer, talk show host, actress and television producer. Her most well-known roles as an actress include Faith Fairfield from the ABC sitcom "Hope & Faith" and 'Hayley in the ABC morning soap opera "All My Children." Ripa co-hosts the morning talk show "Live with Kelly and Ryan" from 2001. Ripa, along with her husband Mark Consuelos and their Milojo production company that is based out of New York, owns the company. The Hollywood Reporter named her as one of the "Most powerful people in Media" in 2014, and we'll be here to help you celebrate it right here. Kelly Maria Ripa was raised and was born in Berlin, New Jersey, the daughter of Esther Ripa a labor union leader for bus drivers, and Joseph Ripa. Ripa's younger sister, Linda has a career as a children's novelist. Ripa was brought up Catholic and since 2009, her father is the Democratic County Clerk for Camden County, New Jersey. Her family was one of the first families to join the field of acting. Since she was three years older, Ripa was training in ballet and playing the piano. After graduating at Eastern Regional High School in New Jersey, Ripa was a cheerleader during her time in high school. Ripa was urged to try acting from her drama teacher at her high school. In her senior year she made headlines when she performed in "The Ugly Duckling" in a production of the local theater. Then she moved to Camden County College in order to study psychology. But she left to relocate from the area to New York City.
